Nu Soul to Distribute Chicago”s Original Indie House Label …Clubhouse Records

Chicago based Clubhouse Records was Established 1988 and has had a important part in the Chicago House Music Movement in the late 80’s early 90’s. Clubhouse Records was developed by producers Hula Mahone & K.Fingers.

Clubhouse Records released lots of House Classics including, Da Posse’s “Strings”, Ron Carroll’s My Prayer” Lidell Townsell’s “Nu Nu”, Cajmere’s “Its Time for the Percolator” and The Outhere Brothers “Boom Boom Boom” just to name a few.

Clubhouse Records also was a launching pad for DJ / Producers with a roster that included, Paul Johnson, Ron Trent, Glen Underground, Braxton Holmes, K.Alexi, Cajmere, Ron Carroll, Blak Beat Niks, DJ Lil John, and Maurice Joshua just to name a few.

Now Clubhouse Records is reactivated under the direction of Hula Mahone and committed to the future movement of this thing we call House Music. Clubhouse.logo
